  • 1.  MASCRCW stops working

    Have a client testing 2019.2 and when I run MASCRCW it keeps failing while loading the file names (doesn't even get to the actual conversion).
    "Sage100ERP.ReportConversion has stopped working"

    Anyone else seen this?

    Can't tell for sure, but that to me looks like it's happening after you select the reports and actually start converting.  Since they talk about excluding reports.... For this client, it happens before they even get to select a report.

    I don't scan the whole MAS90 folder... moving custom reports to a sub-folder, scanning that, MAS_System, MAS_###... wherever there are customized reports / forms.  If it crashes, you've just narrowed down where the problem file is located.

    ​So can you see what the first report is that it's trying to pull up during the 'search'.  I've had it happen once it's started and found a bad report and deleted it (it was old anyway).

    Oh, but of COURSE it waits until it's about 80% done, when the file names are way down at the bottom where you can't see them.

    yeah, that sucks!  I had to run it several times (and it takes so freaking long to search and pull them all) and watch it to get the name.  I don't remember if I could move the 'MASCRW has stopped working' screen so I could see the Conversion window and get a better feel for the report name.​
