  • 1.  MASBPS.DLL failed to register

    Just did an upgrade from Sage 100 standard 2022 to 2024.1 for a client and upon workstation install I get the error message:

    Error 1904.  Module c:\programdata\sage\common Components\MASBPS.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147220473.  Contact your support personnel.

    Everything seems to work ok other than doing a SAVE EXCEL TEMPLATE in Sage Intelligence fails.   I worked around this by saving the template directly from Excel to the  templates folder for now.   I'm not sure if this is related to the initial install error or not.

    Nothing specifically in the Sage Knowledgebase or Sage City that I can find.

    Any thoughts?

    I assume you found the 4 kb's that reference "error 1904".  Did you see the one with reference to MASBPS.dll, re: 32/64-bit switch?

    Ok.  Originally searched for MASBPS.DLL and I didn't get most of those hits.  Error 1904 gives me a number of possibilities to work with.   Thanks Brett.
