Sage 100

Has anyone ever seen a menu be completely disabled?  This is Standard v4.30 and is totally inaccessible from any menu option - absolutely no menu will open and no task can be run.

If you think it's ransomware then search on that phrase so you can find and they can apply a complete resolution (such as restoring from backup). Otherwise if you think it's not ransomware and only MAS was disabled intentionally then try this :

1) Restore all TXT files from /mas90/Launcher and below the most important being MNUMOD.TXT

Even if you have only a very old backup that would work. Otherwise you have to reinstall their modules to repopulate it.

2) then start up and rebuild Sy_Menu like this if I remember correctly

One way is File / Run / SYZCON
At prompt type
o=NEW("Sy_Menu_svc", %sys_ss)
? o'CompileMenu()

Resolved - Alnoor guided me to identify text files that had been changed (corrupted), in a similar manner to malware.  Thank you Alnoor!!​​  Can now gain access to the system after rebuilding the menus.
