MAS200 v4.4 How do you delete the entire installation? I tried to uninstall from Programs and Features,. The Sage installation wizard displays... It wants to install... I want to uninstall. I want to move the installation to a different folder structure. Is there an easy way to move it or should I completely uninstall and re-install? Is there any harm in just deleting the entire folder structure? I am concerned about orphaned entries in the registry if I delete the folders without an official uninstall.

I like to make a full copy of the mas90 folder first . This copy will be used upon reinstallation Then uninstall the old MAS200 from the computer ( this will delete the registry entries) . At this point you can the reinstall to desired location. You will be able to migrate from the copy to bring over full system and companies data. . When finished and new system is operational you can delete the copy you made and any left over folders in the old Mas200 system.

How do you uninstall? I have tried through add and remove programs but the installation wizard appears.

The installation wizard will bring up an uninstall option.

Mine isn't working right then. My only option is to enter a path for the installation. When I give it the path of the original installation it brings up the blank registration keys screen. Something is messed up.

Looks like you lost the uninstall folder. Does it do the same thing when you run The autorun from the cd image. You may have to just install it to the new place and migrate from the old location. You will need to manually delete the entry from the registry.

How about reinstalling it in the former location, then uninstalling it?

Doug, honestly. it really doesn't matter it you have a stray registry entry or 2. hell there are 1000;s of lines from all the prigram and drivers.. . Reinstall and migrate and you you will be fine... The registry wasn't that important in V4.4 you could still have 2 copies on system . it wasn't till v2013 that the registry even mattered.... My .02 cents

Following up on this issue.... I was able to successfully uninstall Sage 100 server portion after I first uninstalled the workstation client on the server. I answered ""yes"" to uninstall all of the registry entries during the workstation uninstall.
