MAS200 4.50 - I performed a server move over the weekend for a client, and they have uninstalled/reinstalled the workstation setups, and now users are complaining of missing custom lookups and task menus. I've restored the MNUBTN.txt files before to get menu shortcut buttons back before, but is anyone familiar with whether custom lookups and custom task menus are saved within a local C:\drive folder or the server - and if so, what file(s)? Thanks in advance.

Here is what I have from Sage on this, hope it helps. TITLE : What files hold public and private tasks in Sage MAS 90 and 200 DETAILS : What files hold public and private tasks Entry Type: Informational Product: Sage MAS 90 ERP, Sage MAS 200 ERP Application: Library Master Version Reported: 4.20 Subject: What files hold public and private tasks that appear on the My tasks tab? Possible Resolution: Private task data is stored in the Mnutasks.ini file which is found here: ..\Mas90\Launcher\Mas90Logon\WindowLogon\ Note: For Sage MAS 90, the Launcher directory is on the server. For Sage MAS 200, the Launcher directory is on the workstation. When you create a private task a directory is created for each Sage MAS 90 or 200 user and Windows user combination. If a user logs on at a different computer and uses the same Windows logon and the same Sage MAS 90 or 200 logon, the associated private tasks appear on the My Tasks tab. Public task data is saved in Mnutaskp.ini which is found here: ..\Mas90\Mas_System\

I do not think custom lookups can be explained as that data should reside in SY1Q01 - SY1Q04 in the SOA directory.

Thanks guys - we'll try out restoring the public tasks file (since the private ones are gone now due to the client uninstall) and the server ALE files.
