Mas200 4.30 - workstation being run through a terminal server. This am user logs in as normal and attempts to start Mas 200 desktop. Login appears to operate normally and desktop appears, but never actually completes its process. Most looks OK, but the company code, user, date and the like never appear in the footer and an hourglass by the cursor won't go away. Attempts to click on anything result in (Not Responding). Only thing you can click on is the 'X' and then you get a Program Not Responding End Now dialogue. Of course ending it this way leaves a pvxwin32.exe running that you have to kill through task manager. Here is where it gets weird.... Same TS session and windows user, right click desktop icon and run as 'Administrator' using same Mas90 login credentials works just fine. This all worked til today without run as admin.... Anyone got any ideas?

Maybe try re-propagating the ACLs on the MAS folder?

So what did IT change? AV settings?

Try running in XP mode. Right click the Sage icon, properties, compatibility.

Everyone - Thanks for all your input. All good ideas and looking at the XP mode option lead me to... as usual, someone was screwing around.... no credit takers of course.... seems there is a check box in the properties of the shortcut to 'Run w/ Restricted Access' - uncheck that and all things return to normal.

It ""MAY"" have been flipped by itself........ I have had PR deduction codes mysteriously flip before......
