MAS FILES I DIDN'T KNOW EXISTED I just spent a total of 8 1/2 hours on the phone with Sage support on the following problem. MAS 200 Version 4.4.06. After completing a Physical Count and running the Physical Count Register I get a mesage that <Item Number>(in my case it was 6328) cannot be found in IM_ItemWarehouse. The Item was in the file. It was not missing. Clicking on the Info button we got an Error 11 in Program CI_TierCostCalc.pvc at line 761 - no Key. Even if we reinitialized all the Physical Count files, the error still appeared. It turns out that MAS creates many temporary files when processing data as temporary holding files while the numbers are being acted upon - much like a Temp field in VI. These files do not show up in DFDM nor are they affected by the Library Master Utilities. Finally it dawned on one of the programmers that one of these temporary files was hung and wrote a program called IM_ClearCommitDataEntry_utl that cleaned it out. So if you run across an error that the utilities won't fix, maybe the problem is in one of the Temp files. For those of you who may have known about these temp files, is there a way for us to clear them out or see if there are data in them without calling Sage? Now I have to figure out how to bill the customer for the Case.

How painful! I just noticed that utility was added in 4.4 PU 7 and 4.5 PU1, and I think someone else posted about it.

Is it that same utility - I had the same thought and was actually looking through the PU and couldn't find that exact file. Though I could swear too that someone brought it up.

Better yet, is there a way to identify the Temp files so they can be purged when all users are off the system?
