MAS 90 v4.4 PU6 - Bug or WAD - PO Daily Receipt Register update - When updating PO ROG/ROI without Receipt/Invoice register, paperless will write the pdf as a PO-000987 register. If you are updating with a receipt/Invoice register, paperless will write the pdf as a PV-000987 register. This gives the appearance in the paperless viewer that you are missing some PO registers, when in actuality they are simply mislabled. I test in v4.5 to see if there is any difference.

Tested it in v4.5. Same behavior. Will write it up and hopefully a fix will be published by PU3 or 4 (trying to be optimistic).

I have been able to duplicate.

I did not duplicate on MAS 90 4.40.0.6. Posted Receipt of Invoice only generating PDF, then added ROG and printed PDF. Results ABC_PO_DailyReceiptsRegister_PO_000003_000.PDF (ROI) and _PO_000003_001.PDF (ROI & ROG).

Issue is when there is a purchase variance register generated after entering ROI information (change invoice unit cost). Paperless will generate a PV.pdf using the PO source number. Very confusing when trying to find via the viewer.

One of our larger clients called with missing PO registers shortly after their 4.4 upgrade a couple months ago. I'm guessing it's another WAD that wasn't thought through very carefully. It seems like several places, they combine several documents in one PDF and you can't tell what specific journals they contain.

Well, the issue got past the initial write up. Now it has to pass the engineering review. I hope they remember who their client is................
