MAS 4.5 Installation - 2nd time in a week this has hit me. Doing a parallel install. The copy process just starts when it blows an error that the xcopy process has halted because there was a file in use. WTF! I made sure everybody was out of the system. Worse yet, when you try to access v4.5 to restart the process, a file has been clobbered and there are no registration keys available to proceed. I have to reinstall MAS........... Fool me once the first time, but the same thing happened to me today!!!!!! I have to reinstall.
But as I am watching the process proceed, it dawns on me that the MAS v4.5 session did not close nor did I get a warning message to close it manually if it doesn't close.
Sure enough, when I start the migration the second time (after making a backup copy of the virgin installation), there is no warning prompt to close the panel. I close the panel and the migration proceeds................
