MAS 200 v4.5 install on a WIN 2008 R2 64 OS server - Encountering this issue during installation. Unable to locate any reference in KB on topic. Might be one of two issues - the first is that sage CRM is not yet installed so this might a premature issue. The second could be that the user for service does not have admin rights or access to the specified folder being launched. Can anyone shed some light on issue? Install has the potential to being the install from hell as the IT folks are not very forthcoming with admin access.

Jeff, I know this isn't a permanent solution, but try setting it to local system user and see if it starts. If so, it is permissions.

Thanks. WIN 2008 R2 is a different animal. In the good old days, it seemed if you installed it as a adminstrator, rights to the folder would be inherited. Now you have to specifically grant the rights. Should be instructional. PS Glad to see I am not the only one checking the web site on Sunday...........

During my first 4.5 install on my laptop, I was prompted to change the port for the integration engine because 8888 was in use - by my original EES install. I think it's probably premature, but it is an issue if the user is not going to install the free CRM.

I would try to fire up the service under a different port ID, also. Of course being the full admin user would be a plus.
