MAS 200 v4.4.8 running Job Ops. Need some thoughts on this one. Client called with issue (see graphic) The on hand balance for warehouse 000 does not equal the ending Qty on the history tab. I've ran the utiilty to rebuild the history to no avail. Am I looking at it correctly? If so, any thoughts on correcting it. Thanks in advance.

What's the valuation method? Any idea how long it has been out of whack? Does either number resemble reality?

Is there any history of someone using the Balance Inventory Quantity and Cost Utility? You'll find ""IZ"" Inventory Transaction History records which are not the oldest transaction date. This can certainly be cause of the record imbalance.

I had this once before but cannot find my notes on the resolution but believe it had to do with having values in IM_ItemWarehouse CostCalcQtyCommitted and CostCalcCostCommitted Removing the data manually or running the IM_CommitCheckClear utility

I also noticed you're on SP8, is there any way you can go to SP9 or 10? Sage did not have the inventory balance and cost commit utilities working correctly until SP9.

Going to JobOps 4.4 R4 (4.40.10) requires reworking custom work ticket forms (yes, they moved stuff to the framework in a service pack...)

I've also had this issue with a client - MAS 200 and same version but no JobOps (so I'd be surprised if it's related to JobOps). Similar to Lisa I think it was related to the CostCalcQtyCommitted/CostCommitted - might want to search that on Sage KB. I believe we ran the IM_CommitCheckClear utility.

@all - ran the commit check utilities to no avail. Will try updating to PU10, then rebuild the history. Thanks @PhilMcIntosh for the heads up on the Crystal rewrites. We are in the process of migrating to v4.5 but that will be several weeks before we are there.

Encountered this at another client. 200 v4.5.6. The fix in v4.5.6 is to run the utility in the *utl menu then rerun the rebuild ending balances utility on the IM utility menu.
