    MAS 200 v4.4. Running the inventory utility to delete an item. Utility runs (appears) normally. Go back to maintenance to verify - item still there. Client running Job Ops. Any thoughts? Renumbering it to ""OBSOLETE"" worked.

    what did the delete log say? if there is history it will not delete.

    I didn't pay attention to the delete log the first time around. There was history back in 2000. Maybe that is why the rename to obsolete worked. Seems to be a catch 22 here. If there is no history, they can use the delete button in IM maintenance. Isn't that what the utility is for - to delete items with history?

    v4.8? Hey did you get a way back machine? You can no longer delete, just merge if there is history.
