Sage 100

MAS 200 v4.3.0.18 workstation setup hanging on T/S (Control Panel says its Windows Server Standard SP2, 32-bit, 8MB RAM). Have tried installing using Add/Remove Programs. Also have tried launching w/ Run as Administrator. After supplying server name and port, It loads the help files, then shows the message ""Sage MAS200 workstaion is configuring your new software installation"". Task Manager shows the task as running. System idle process at 99%, nothing I recognize taking much CPU time. Any thoughts? Been running for 25 minutes.

In the task manager, go to View > Select Columns. Check the boxes next to IO Read, IO Write, and IO Other. Then see if there is any activity in the IO columns. If not, then the process is hung, and you might as well kill it.

Looks like WKSETUP is busy (activity in all those columns). 35 minutes and counting.

Did it ever complete?

@AaronClark, seems like a lifetime ago now, but I think that got resolved by turning off anti-virus and maybe setting permissions on the path to the Workstation files did it.
