MAS 200 v4.05 with DSD Multi-company and multi-currency. One relatively new company is printing checks. One check has an extended stub. When they print checks everything prints fine (they signed and mailed checks), but when you go to print extended stub report the window appears and then disappears. Can't update because extended stub not printed. Any ideas for this old out of date system?

Do they have any UDFS for check printing?

Not that I am aware of.

Try opening the extended stub report in Crystal and do a verify database - that may actually get you the error message.

How many lines need to print on the extended stub? Maybe change the number of lines of detail and see if they would all fit on the check if you reprinted it. Since the checks have been mailed - maybe you do not need the extended stub to print - you may be able to edit the check header field for stubprinted. You could update the batch that way. You may have to find an old file layout for the check header file. What is the version of the extended check form? Has anyone edited it with incorrect version?

It was edited by the customer. Ran the verify and now the window stays open. Having them test. Thanks for the quick response. I will let all know the update.
