Hello Events Committee!
I wanted to let you know that I have received word that Margaritaville has been purchased by another hotel brand (IHG). The sale will be final in the next week or so. I am expecting more updates from the property later this week but in the interim I can confirm:
1 It will no longer be Margaritaville and rebrand back to the original name of The Riviera (Rat Pack Style).
2. This was the original name of the hotel in the 1950s
3. My understanding is that all Margaritaville branding will be replaced and updated and I assume this will mean some updates to the property which is great.
I will provide more information as I receive it. But a good question for consideration:
Do we need to rethink the Thursday Night Pool Party with the Buffet Beach Band? Maybe rebrand this evening?
