    Great. Another finance guy. At least this one is American. He's spent most of his career in the banking and payments industry, if that gives you any idea about what Sage wants to emphasize...

    I did have an opportunity to speak briefly with Marc at President's Circle and he comes across as intelligent and interested in what people have to say. He seems to be a consensus leader - he and the various VP's there appear to get along very well, which has not always been the case. No one, including Marc, has something personal to prove. He also speaks English - very well. He will appear great compared to Pascal.

    Snarkiness aside, I do think he has potential. Annapolis-Fighter jockeys are interesting sorts, and those who make it into and through HBS more so. He clearly knows a lot about financial systems and processes. I agree it's an improvement from Pascal. We'll see how much, I guess.

    In NA he will succeed if he can reinvigorate the channel. If he does not I see rough seas ahead for Sage mid-market.
