Mapping a UDF - Trying to map the customer contact telephone number to a Sales Order Header UDF. Is this possible? I am not seeing a BO table for the contact code to pull it from. Or perhaps a script to do it? I think I could pull it into the Crystal work table but am fixated on mapping it.. Thoughts?

I haven't been able to find a flowing UDF, so we've had to add a script to lookup based on the email address (since the contact code is not saved)

It really would be nice if the A/R customer Contact Code was present in the S/O Header file and/or S/O Wrk file (rather than just Confirm To), or if you could at least create it as a BO UDF in order to make the data accessible for a form, as opposed to having to use a Script.  I'm going to try and link by the Confirm To field, knowing that if the user overwrites the Confirm To on the sales order, that'll break the contact info coming onto the sales order form.

    clarification:
In linking by Confirm To (which worked), it'll break if the user changes the spelling of the Confirm To (Contact Name) that’s showing in S/O Entry, without also making the same change in the Contacts screen – because then they won’t be identical.  Simply selecting a different contact in S/O Entry for example should have no impact.  Also, as @Beth Bowers mentions below, we also need to watch out for multiple Contacts with the exact same name for a given customer.

Watch out when your client has the exact same name under 2 different contact codes for the customer....
