  • 1.  Make SO Ship|Expire date required

    For Sage 100 PU5 Premium, I have a client requesting the SO Ship|Expire date to be required.  This field auto populates with the order date, however if made blank it will stay that  way.  When I go to Custom Office|Advanced on the SO_SalesOrder header and choose the field, the required checkbox is greyed out.  I'm guessing because it auto populates.  I'm sure there is a work around for this.  Any suggestions?

    Edit the SO panel header and click on the Data Validation tab.  Choose Range, then enter a range such as 20100101 to 29991231.

    We've done this with a script... set a default value that is wrong (1900-01-01), and then Pre-Write: SetError if that is still the value.
