  • 1.  Make Sales Order Default to Quote

    I have a client on the Premium version of 2019.  They want sales order to default to an order type of Quote vs. Standard Order.  I tried the Advanced Settings of Custom Office, however that does not work.  There is a warning message that pretty much indicates this as per attached.  Any ideas?

    It looks like changing the default is by user, is that correct?  I am not finding documentation stating either way.

    It is by user and there is also a 'for this session only' or 'hold for future sessions' when you set this.

    I believe it is by user.  Should be easy enough to test.  Also, I am not sure if it holds when you log out of then back into Sage.  I tell my users to be vigilant!
