    Hello

I have a client using Sage CRM and Swiftpage.

    Swiftpage is being retired.

The client tried Mailchimp a while back and it did not work out (cannot remember why).

Does anyone have experience using Mailchimp with Sage CRM or have clients experienced with it?

    Hi Douglas,

I was about to leave for the evening and saw this come through.

A large portion of my client base uses MailChimp. Those that don't simply don't have a need for email marketing at this point. Those that use the base version like the simplicity of it. Those that use it and build upon the native integration between MailChimp and Sage CRM (specifically using Workflows) absolutely love it and the process approach that can be put in place.

    Hope that helps.

    Basil,

Thank you much and it indeed helps.

I have sent your comment on to the client to see what they envision as the next step (they may want to pull you in for assistance if you are open to it).

    You're very welcome, sir.

Happy to help where I can. If they want to pick my brain on the next steps, they're more than welcome to do so.

Not only is Mailchimp a robust tool aimed at a range of businesses, but the Sage CRM integration is far better.

For modest mail volumes, MailChimp is free. So it has a practical way to test it out IRL.
