Love it when IT people install servers specifically for MAS but don't consult with us concerning the MATRIX and what is supported. Anybody try 4.5 on Server 2011?

When asked the only advice I give is a link to a PDF of the SPM -- any other conversation tends to get twisted at the first ""bump in the road"" ..

But honestly if Sage is not going to support it I cant take the responsibility even if it looks right.

I have a client that tried MAS 200 on Server 2011 - both 4.4 and 4.5 with the same result. MAS 200 opens fine but when you try to choose a menu item, the program ignores you and nothing happens. You will finally get a message that there are not enough resources to process the request. It turnes out that the server had only 4% of the memory available and so MAS 200 didn't have enough resources to run (the server has at least 8 gigs of total memory). The problem is in the hands of the client's IT guy right now. Something in Server 2011 is using all the memory and the IT guy needs to figure out what it is.

Thanks for the info. I will let you know my ""issues"" tomorrow.

Update. There are no performance issues (except for check printing) using server 2011. The customer used National Accounts Extended Solution and all the shipto/soldto were successfully migrated. As a side bar, the customer does not have IM, SO, PO.

Should be fine. The issue with SMB 2011 is exchange will consume most of the memory if you let it.
