Lot/serial distribution. Created a UDF to hold a date and added it to the PO Receipt distribution grid using IM_TransactionTierDistribution_bus. Saved it but the UDF does not appear when I distribute lots on PO ROG. What am I missing?

when you added your UDF to the grid did you choose PO_ReceiptDist when it prompted you for which grid you were modifying?

is the field not showing up or is it not just not populating the data?

Kate, only options were SOInvoiceTier or IMTransTier. I have added the UDF to PO Receipt Tier Distribution though, but it's not a choice for CommonEntry grid.

David, the UDF does not appear on the lot distribution grid.

Let me make sure I know where you are. When you go to PO > Receipt of Goods > Lines Tab > Lot/Serial Distribution Button > right-click to access customizer. At that point you get the ""multiple business objects"" box. In my drop down I have SO and IM but I also have PO_ReceiptTierDistribution_Bus (as well as RMA). So strange that you would not have that option. Can you access PO_ReceiptTierDistribution through customizer?

Kate, I have SO, two RA, and IM TierDistrib choices but no PO. Thoughts only what i should check backtracking? Oh, this is v2016.

I'm looking at v2016 as well. I'm at a loss as to why you don't have that option! You can obviously access the lot/serial distribution manually because that is where you are looking for your UDF so I don't think security would be an issue. maybe hit the usual suspects like Update Panels to custom levels and rebuild customizer logs?

if you are logged into a company that does not have purchase order activated, then you would not see the options for PO.

I confirmed that it works in 2015, but would need to setup 2016 to see.. I hope that helps to at least go to Sage with this and say (at one point it worked ! ).

to add to Kate's suggestion - also reset grids?

@GregStiles - good call. Reset panels might fix it. Anxious to hear back.

I have to wait a few more minutes to get everyone out but promise to post progress.
