Looks like we'll find out the price increase that payroll users face during this February 1 webinar.

I like this phrasing. As if we're the ones increasing the pricing so it's our responsibility to convey the message to the customer and help them accept it. **_Tools and workshops Sage has planned to help you prepare customers for these changes._**

Signed up already. May the PAIN begin......

I can't wait for the specifics on the ""customer research findings used to define the new packaging and pricing."" Spin, doctor, spin! Oh, and I do hope those in attendance will fill this thread with lots of good comments because I will not be able to make the call since I will be in Orlando with 4 of my team members at the Acumatica Summit conference gaining valuable knowledge to begin the transition.

Note that this no longer impacts Canada, so I guess the North America folks will be able to get a word in on this call.

I won't be able to attend but can't wait to see how Sage has this all figured out. Will someone take notes or screen shots? I would appreciate it. TIA.

Oh, I am sure we will also have 200 plus posts in SC as the event unfolds...

Sage is hosting a town hall session during MOTM - Connie Certusi, Paige Erickson, Diane Haines, Scott Munro, Linda Cade, Mike Ritchie are on the invite list. So there will be an up close and personal option for discussion this with them. I do not think anything will change rather Sage probably hopes that they will win us over to become their ambassadors of price hikes.

The pain from the ""2015 Payroll end of year"" is still fresh. The customers will still be numb when they receive this news. Good timing.

Sage is very interested in our feedback. When we have the call I will gather up our consensus (anonymously) and make sure that Sage head our voice. The fact that they didn't come to us first leads me to believe not much will change.

When has Sage ever asked for reseller input before making a decision??

I think our preparation for the change should be to get a phone number at Sage to refer our clients to. Our position shoudl be: ""This whole payroll thing makes no sense to me either and Sage has setup a hotline to explain the benefits to you directly."" Let them deal with the onslaught of complaints.

I'm with @GaryFeldman I'm not going to even attempt to explain this hot mess.
