General Consultant Discussion

Looks like we will have added approximately 50 consultants to this group by the time November 1, 2011 rolls around (our initial cutoff). Our goal is simple: - More brains = less need to call for tech support - Faster responses = happier customers - Happier customers = more success for our members Remember - the key to keeping this running is to share your knowledge. If you run across a neat tip / trick or technical item - please share it. Even when you think everyone knows about your tip or tech item - it's usually worth sharing. Some of our best information is short tips that people have shared.

Is there a way to search in these Socialcast groups?

Phil, at the top of the web-based version of Socialcast there is a Search box. It searches across all of the Groups that you are a member of. I used it this morning to look up posts regarding EDI. It brought up a great Mapadoc survey from Hellene at SWK.

Phil, this is what John is referring to. Do you not have this anywhere on your screen?

I don't - mine is like Phil's.

We only see Groups, not Home and the other things to the left.

It looks like the Oasis restrictions take the search away

I'll have @JimWoodhead check with Socialcast and we'll figure something out.

UPDATE: We are looking to solve this issue of search. Because there are two types of accounts in Socialcast -- and the newest members are using the ""External Collaborator"" type accounts we had not as of yet noticed the lack of search. We agree this is pretty urgent. @JimWoodhead is going to talk with Socialcast tomorrow about fixing this.

There's more than one - Heinlein got me through the chicken pox while on an Xmas roadtrip to Texas when I was in the 6th grade.

Wow, must have been a great trip..................... Did your parents let you out of the car or were you in isolation?

WORST VACATION EVAH. Grandparents were along (we had a big RV and they drove their car) and grandfather couldn't remember if he'd ever had chicken pox.. I remember going through the new Superdome in LA with a fever and the rest of the trip is a blur. Then bronchitis set in and I was out of school a month. BLECH.
