Looks as though 2017 PU2 disables the View > Application Scaling option, leaving only default choice. The medium and large settings are greyed out and inactive. Just noticed on a client upgrade done yesterday and tested it out on my own local install.

I thought those options (medium, and large) were only available for v2017c licensing; and not available for v2017 (non C) Licensing.

Sorry, I should have been more specific in my post. You're absolutely correct, this was 2017c

I just installed 2017 PU2 locally (partner keys) and application scaling still works fine.

I think it may depend on the display resolution settings, but I thought the scaling was meant to get around these issues. Ah well.

On my local 2017C PU2 my application scaling works.

The scaling allows you to have a higher resolution, but without that meaning a microscopic UI. With lower resolutions, the larger window size wouldn't have room to fit (and I guess Sage couldn't get scroll bars working on all their panels).

The interesting thing is that my local 2017c PU1 was working properly, only after I installed PU2 the problem arose. The Sage support analyst was able to duplicate also.

A couple months ago I was working on a customer system using SQLSMS troubleshooting an issue... opening SSMS on my local system showed more than in the remote session. I bumped up the resolution in the Team Viewer session (100 extra vertical pixels), and hidden options in the screen became available. Not much with Sage surprises me anymore but Microsoft should be able to do better. /rant
