Looking to see if anyone has run across this issue. We have a client that runs a staffing exchange for Nurses, basically an on call service. The nurses are employed by the agency and assigned to work shifts at various hospitals. The nurses turn in a physical time card and the company then pays the nurses for their shift within 2 hours of the shift ending (including after hours and on weekends). Currently they utilize Global Cash Cards to process the immediate payment. They are using Sage 100 Payroll in house. The nurses are paid based on a net pay estimate and then the next business day, the Payroll entry person calculates the actual net amount that should have been paid and they adjust accordingly for the next paycheck. They are requesting that the after hours employee that authorizes the Global Cash Card payment be able to enter the Gross $ owed to an employee and have it access Sage Payroll, calculate the deductions and taxes and return back a Net amount due. They do NOT want the after hours person having access to Sage 100 or the payroll system and they do NOT want data entry recorded in Sage. Eventually, they would like to see a Time Card solution, but for now, they just want to be able to call to the setup information in Sage to calculate net pay. Even with a time card solution, It's not going to allow for the full payroll calculation to take place and just return a net pay value. I'm at a loss on how to accomplish this and my first thought is ""find a payroll service that integrates with Global Cash Card processing."" I just don't see how it could be possible in Sage 100 Payroll. Anyone have any experience similar to this?? @GeneralConsultantDiscussion

I'd like to see this answer too. Especially about Sage calculating the Net Pay.

PR v2.0 coming out this fall???? The issue with scripting in PR now is that PR is not in framework so scripting is not possible.

Which is supposed to use a cloud tax calc system - I wonder if there will be a way to access it from other apps?
