Looking some more at Sage 100c (available 10/29) - have Sage thrown in the towel on including Sage CRM licenses with Sage 100? It appears by this graphic that Sage CRM isn't available as an add-on for Essentials and only for extra money if you are Advanced or Complete. Kind of a big strategy swing

Sage Intelligence also appears to be an add-on not included in any of the three bundles

Crystal Reports too So it appears that unlike the on-premises, there's an added charge for: a. SageCRM first license b. Sage Intelligence c. Crystal Reports Users I wouldn't say any of these are big issues except Crystal Reports -- which is $22.22/mo or $240/year per user And who exactly is buying the ""Complete Plus Bundle of WO, MRP, JC, TC"" for $250/mo? Hopefully, that price is not per user. It's difficult to tell from the price sheet.

It makes sense to not include it for ""free"". If the target market is SMB, it only angers end users when they learn the cost to get CRM operational for one user. If the original intent was to get users to try it and add more users I believe this had the opposite effect. I have had many people ask about it and as soon as they learn what it takes to ""try"" that is the end of the conversation. It makes sense to not include it at all. If the end user decides to implement it company wide the installation cost is spread over a number of user licenses which is perceived as more palatable.

I believe the $22/user Crystal Reports (even if you can buy the licenses in separate increments from your Sage 100c licenses) will snag more than a few. I guess it's always possible that the partner does the Crystal work on their PC then uploads it to the customer. Still, for a customer who needs Crystal Reports, a $45 basic essentials license suddenly becomes almost $70. Welcome to SaaS -- where you must figure out every add-on and optional service that's truly required to make one finished useable service.

Maybe a false alarm on the Sage CRM and Intelligence as I see both of them listed under Sage 100c Business. Logical place for them, right? I am thinking Crystal is going to be an extra fee unless Sage just left it off their pricing chart by mistake.

They could just buy Crystal Reports elsewhere for $495.00

I don't know the answer, but since Sage really is pushing 100c, I find it hard to believe they would start leaving items out that are standard in 100. Essentials is a good addition to provide just the basics.
