Looking for ""Frozen Flag"" in the MAS 90 v4.20 PU16 Inventory module. When you create a Physical Count Worksheet and freeze a range of items, where is the field that marks the item as frozen? Is it in CI_Item, IM_Item, IM1, ???? I've looked at several File Layouts and cannot find it.

Did you try deleting the item out of IME?

I don't know of a flag, I think the system just knows it's ""Frozen"" because the item is now in the IM_Physical table.

There isn't a flag that I'm aware of, MAS looks for the item in the IM_Physical table to know if the item is ""Frozen

right Brett - and the IM_Physical table in 4.2 should be table IME - it creates a record in this table when the item is frozen

In 4.2, it would be IME, I believe.

When you ""Freeze"" items for physical count it is not really ""frozen"" in any sense of the word. More like a snap shot. It just writes out the current quantity on hand to the Physical Count file. For example the system says there is 100 on hand so it writes out 100 to the IME or Physical Count file. You count but before you enter it you post some invoices and the system now shows 50 on hand. When you enter the count of say 98 it takes the 98 and subtracts it from 100 giving you a variance of 2. It then subtracts 2 from the 50 giving you 48 on hand.
