Looking for a Peachtree resource. Specifically for someone hoping to merge GL accounts and combine historical postings, similar to MAS 90 utility. It's not for a client, but rather from someone I know through a CPA networking group I belong to. I'm guessing this falls into the 'not much of any billing type of opportunity' opportunity. Most likely simply a chance to spread good karma, even if its to tell the guy it can't be done.

The feature to combine and consolidate transaction detail between two GL Accounts does not exist in Peachtree, as it does in QB. You will need to create a General Journal Entry to transfer the current account balance and then mark one of the two GL Accounts as Inactive. You can further open OPTIONS - GLOBAL and click off the line option ""HIDE INACTIVE"" Accounts.

I understand that http://www.mypeachtreedata.com/ offers this as a 3rd party service, but their enhancements page appears to be down.
