Loir Maloof is gearing up for v4.5 beta testing and is looking for volunteers to help further the cause at www.sagemas.com/beta. Not sure of the incentives being offered to those stepping forward for the good of the collective, but it is an opportunity to help debug the product before it is released to the general public later this fall. Do not expect to influece the usability of the product (not happening) but just to get your hands on an early release to put it through it paces. If histroy repeats itself, you won't get bored!

I think about the only thing you get is a free 4.50 class and exam. Better than nothing. And you can beta on a stand alone XP machine, too, in case anyone else wants to be drug down by Mr Schwenk, into the bowels of beta hell. Oh, wait, I'm probably the only person in 90Minds still on an XP machine, aren't I?

I'm on Windows 7.

Beth, instead of dropping all of those hard earned dollars on European vacations, why not drop a grand on a brand spanking blazing new laptop with an SSD and Windows 7 64 OS Ultimate. With this new girl toy, you will be the geekiest of the geeks in this Social(out)cast group. I can hear the oohs and aahs now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately (IMHO), this lack of compenstation causes great damage to Sage in the long term as the lack of heavy beta testing hurts everyone. Sage has already done the lite beta testing when it is released to the beta group. if there is no incentive for us to truly break it by runnng real world processes, then the true beta testing is left for the early adopter clients who ""think"" the buts have been worked out. My concern with this release is that SageCRM is being released to the general public and there will be a multitude of issues associated iwth this leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Misery loves company! C'mon and join us. The water isn't too deep!!!!!!

I would probably get a new computer every few years and for every other year take a vacation. So I'm all for the ""balanced approach"".

Agreed - no references to SBS - my guess is they do not know how to list on this. seems like MAS90 and 200 will work fine in my opinion depending on the various variables - # of users etc. But CRM cannot be installed of exchange.

Is there an SPM for MAS 200 SQL 4.5?
