    LogMeIn email - _you're IP has been blocked after too many login attempts_ - This had to be bogus since I was on a logmein session. Thought someone may be trying to hack the password. LogMeIn said it's a phishing scam that started this morning. They recommended deleting email and running an AV scan on your system.

    We started using dual authentication with LogMeIn recently. Since then, several of our technicians received failed login notices from LogMeIn stating that someone from Romania, or Russia, etc. attempted to login using our account. There was no request for me to do anything and it was an authentic LogMeIn notification. Nevertheless, it's good advice to check the origin of the message before clicking on anything.

    True, I should turn on dual authentication for this account, thanks for the reminder. I did check the message header and compared it to LogMeIn's list of authentic ones, which is why I called them since it appeared to be legit.
