Lesson learned...and the joys of Saas/hosting:
We have a small subsidiary that does our telemarketing. I setup the website and domain like 10 years ago. One of those $7/month type webhosts.
Find out today they wen't belly up without notice.
Mistake #1: No matter who hosts your websites, always register your domain with a 'big guy' like godaddy. Now its going to be a protracted messy process to regain registration control of the domain while people get an undeliverable message sending emails.
Mistake #2 (or lesson learned), not all Saas providers will crash and burn with much of any notice. What if this was an online ERP provider... Why are people so infatuated with SaaS when this risk is out there? Just wait till the first big one goes down.
