Admins control the setting and members can't leave a community BUT they can unsubscribe from the email digests. It's covered in the Higher Logic Getting Started guide.
Select the MY ACCOUNT tab dropdown. Review each of the options in the dropdown, and make sure
you opt-in (or out) as needed.
Inbox will take you to your personal (or direct) messages.
Privacy Settings determine who can see what about you (i.e., only members can look at your email address, etc.)
Email Preferences control how often you receive emails and type (system emails, community emails, etc.)
Community Notifications For each Community, you have the following email delivery options (These can also be adjusted on the community home page):• Real-time sends an email every time a new message is posted.• Daily digest sends one email to you each day, consolidating all the posts from the previous day.•
No Email allows you to be part of the group without having emails sent to you. You can still post and read others' messages by logging into the community site.
