Last week I finalized a Sage 100 4.4 to 2016.3 upgrade. I ran into the ""Electronic Consent Is Required"" bug. Apparently Sage has figured this out and I noticed they published a program fix to correct the records.
Previously to fix this you could use a VI job to export out the vendors with the issue then re-import the fields to fix the problem.
This is not the world's greatest problem, however, I find it VERY annoying that Sage couldn't work out a fix sooner and include it in a PU so that the conversion process did not create this problem.
It's embarrassing to leave a customer site and get a call only to learn that this bug is keeping people from adding or changing vendors.
Here's the one-off fix which seems to possibly be a faster way to fix records than the VI two-step.
Hopefully Sage will package a true fix into future product updates so that we are not going through with a punch list of Sage bugs to watch for then having to continuously apply fixes manually.
