Just upgraded our MAS 200/CRM from 4.4/7.0 to 4.5/7.1, and there was the following error on the CRM upgrade: ""Setup has detected that the CRM url rewriter may not be working properly. This may prevent certain CRM functionality from working."" Atlas KB returns nothing useful. SageCRM community has a list of things to try that ends with a post saying that many of the previous posters were just randomly trying things and didn't know what they were talking about. Accpac 6.0 is also installed on the same server, though MAS 200 is what is connected to CRM. CRM seems to be OK except the dashboards don't work: ""The dashboard has experienced a problem. Please contact your system administrator.

Have you restarted the Tomcat server?

Phil, if you check I posted the same thing in the CRM board a little while ago. I have a customer on SageCRM and having the same issue. I tried about 13 different things and nothing so far has worked to get the Interactive Dashboards to work. What is the OS you are running on?

@DawnAnastasi Mine is on Windows 2003 @AaronClarkCPACITP - Tomcat is started, I have rebooted the server, no change. The only Tomcat I see says Sage Accpac Tomcat.

That is the correct Tomcat server, @PhilMcIntosh. This is so odd ... we don't experience these issues at any of our client installations - MAS integrated or otherwise. I can't figure out the differences from @DawnAnastasi prior post. I'm wondering if the solution is that you all should have Azamba do your Sage CRM implementations so you can focus on MAS work and not deal with these problems? Hmmm... just a thought. Kidding aside ... most of our clients are running later versions of Windows than 2003 but 2003 is supported from what I understand.

BTW - this just in from one of my team (apparently we have seen it and here was the resolution): ""I had to do some configuration on the new websites that get added to IIS and the tomcat service. Essentially I had to grant those sites administrative access.

Any chance that these are 2003 SBE's installations (without Exchange running)? Azamba spent over an hour working on my installation (2003 SBE, no exchange installed) and pulled the plug on support after nothing worked and they realized that the OS was unsupported. Peter, correct me if I am wrong, but the dashboarding was the issue we were trying to resolve. If the dashboards are an issue on a standard 2003 install, perhaps I should reopen my Azamba support ticket?????

SBE is not supported. I think I posted a response right before you Jeff that offers up a resolution. I'm not sure we tried it on your environment so it's worth a shot. No guarantees though. If you need help, can you email Jon (or whoever you were working with) and reference my note above (or just cc me and I will)?

@PeterWolf - it is not SBE. I switched the tomcat login from local service to administrator and restarted, no change. what exactly does ""grant those sites administrative access"" mean?

Go to IIS, and make all the CRM 7.0/7.1 specific sites (crmj, crmjspell, crmsyncengine, sdata) run under a domain admin account.

My customer is 2008 R2 Enterprise, not small business server.

In windows 2003 IIS, are you referring to this?

    Yes

@PeterWolf - thanks, that worked. Is it not a security risk though? I thought the whole point of the IISUser was to limit the damage that could be done through hacking IIS...

I changed the ""Connect As"" setting and did an IISRESET and that did not work, unfortunately. So it appears we have the answer for 2003 but not for 2008.

I changed the anonymous access user as well and did an IISRESET and that did not work either.

@DawnAnastasi that should work for 2008 as well. I could have one of my team dial in if you need.
