  • 1.  Just upgraded from MAS 90 4.50 to Sage 100 2016.1

    Just upgraded from MAS 90 4.50 to Sage 100 2016.1 Advanced on same server. Workstation is installed on application server and accessed via a published application for end users but issue occurs with a full desktop also. This is the classic Sage 100, not the new 100c. We have a few screens such as the AR>Main>Invoice History Inquiry, Customer Contacts, and Customer Credit History screen that have larger fonts than all the other screens and its truncating some of the field labels as a result. The odd part really is that its only a few screens and the rest appear to be normal. Anyone have any ideas?

    No, there is no * at the top, they appear stock.

    YES, they do have Job Ops installed, its 2016A. Do you think that could be related?

    This happened to me once before (but on all sage tasks) because the resolution was non compatible (HD Monitors vs standard). We had to go in and change the resolution on the server and the workstations. In addition, in the display options for the monitor on the server it was set to 125%, but the display on the local machines running the app was 100%. Maybe Vice versa. Double check that?

    Yes, a hot fix is listed on their KB. Search for 2016A and you will find many hot fixes other than the ones listed on the downloads page

    Search the JobOps Knowledge-base for the word ""FONTS"" and you will find the Hot Fix to resolve that issue.

    Not sure the timing for you but JobOps has issued 2016.2 or B which has some program fixes around the sales journal updating. We have a few customers that we just finished the test upgrade to 2016A and 2016B resolved those issues. Be careful though since in 2016B they renamed the JobOps main menu folder to Manufacturing.
