    Just upgraded a customer to 2016A. We can not delete a part on a work ticket as the ""X"" is grayed out. Qty required = 0, qty used = 0 and user has all permissions. What am I missing?

    Does the client have Dynamic Inventory Turned ON? is there a Dynamic Inventory Transaction for that item? If so, you will not be able to delete the item.

    Working as designed. Functionality was changed on version 2014R1. Please see the article below from the 2014R1User Guide: DISALLOW THE DELETING OF PARTS FROM A WORK TICKET WHEN TRANSACTIONS HAVE OCCURRED Work Tickets Parts Entry items will no longer be allowed to be removed from work tickets when transactions have occurred on the item. When items are issued and unissued then removed from work tickets, this can cause inaccurate data to be produced on the WIP Reconciliation Report causing it to not print the correct amounts to balance with General Ledger. If a chargeable or printable component has a quantity shipped of 0, the CG and PT checkbox can be turned off so this item no longer prints on forms. Note: It is also recommended that if you have backflushing turned on that this parts quantity required be set to 0 so it does not backflush during final invoicing.

    Dynamic inventory is turned on. After changing the required and used to zero, a negative line was created to offset the positive line. Problem is when you run a Work Ticket Edit Report, the cost is shown in the cost column. This is confusing for the customer. Is this not accounted for in the Crystal form design? I see in Mary Jo's post that I should be able to turn that off, but I don't see where to do that.

    Uncheck the CG and PT boxes on the line

    They are not checked but the line still shows on the Edit Report.
