Just upgraded a customer from 4.4 to 4.5 and none of the pdf directories in Paperless Office came over. They have an extremley detailed file setup in Paperless Office, so they are not super excited to go setup the directories again. I thought that the pdf directory locations usually migrated over? Any thoughts or ideas on how I can bring them over?

I believe you can copy the directories from the old to the new and use the link utilities to relink them.

Thanks @NancyHanson. Do you know if I select all the files and hit relink to a directory with all the sub-directories beneath, if the files will relink to their appropriate sub-directory?

I have tried using that - it doesn't bring back the actual directories in paperless office setup unfortunately

Those should have carried over when you migrated your system files.

That's what I thought - but I think i uncovered the problem. The client didn't want me to migrate all of the companies over, so their IT person went back and tried to re-migrate some additional companies after I did the upgrade. I'm guessing they may have re-migrated system files for those additional companies and that overwrote the original system files?

Yes if you migrate system files again, it wipes out the previous system files. But their settings should be in the new system files too.
