    Just took a look at the Sage Advisor feature today. Anyone want to bet how soon customers can renew maintenance directly online via a link with a CC#? Also would not be surprised if at some point installation of the upgrade requires also registering a contact name and email/phone. I'm actually surprised that Sage have not done so already.

    Hey! If they can get it right, it might not be bad for them to renew online via CC. So no, that part is bad news.

    Would it only be a small leap for Sage to adopt a policy that unless the partner managed the renewal they did not get commission? Personally I think Sage would love to do that. They'd probably use some other metric like customer satisfaction or tier size, etc. Heck maybe if Sage were smart they'd make you kep a certain % of customers on the N-3 versions in order to get commission.

    @WayneSchulz - your points are logical steps. Given the fact that they have struggled to get installation images delivered electronically for a decade, I'm not sure how fast that next step will come.
