    For clients who use Google apps, I've been installing XMail (http://www.xmailserver.org/) for them. You can use directly as an SMTP server (which is what I've been doing), or you can use it as a relay to move the messages to Google Apps (I've never done it, but based on what I read, it is quite possible).

    Brett that ""this will only deliver to other Google Apps or Gmail addresses"" seems to be a show stopper unless I am missing something. Am wondering what happens to the non-gmail addresses that get sent -- do the emails bounce?
