Just received from end user: Any thoughts on Concur or suggestions for alternatives? This is for a relatively small non-profit school and I've always considered Concur best suited for larger companies. Hi Wayne, We are contemplating looking into Concur to replace a homemade, brittle expense management and approval system. I've done some research and Concur keeps coming up as a credit card, reimbursement and expense management system that seems to meet all our requirements. Have you ever worked with a client who integrated Concur with MAS90? What was the experience like? Is it something you would recommend? Any pitfalls? etc.

It was a few years back, customer looking at expense tracking with posting back to MAS. Concur was great to work with allowing me to setup a 45 day demo system. Had great features, nice GL posting set ups and departmentalizing all in all a good program. Ultimately customer choose to stick with what they had due to change in their business.

I setup some import routines for a client end of last year. Just looked they have not used them, so they must have nixed the implementation.

Concur is a solid program but it is a little pricey. We have done some VI work to integrate it with Sage 100. We also wrote a connector for Sage 500 and Sage X3. We used Concur internally for some time but we recently switched to Certify for our expense processing. UI is a little bit easier to use especially as a mobile app. Ultimately the price for Certify was dramatically less than Concur. Give me a shout if you want more details.

Bill.com is reasonable as to cost. Need to use VI to bring in AP invoices and manual checks. Several 90Mind members have the VI jobs.

I have a NP customer using Certify. Don't know anything about price though. It does work via VI.

A VI import from Concur is easy, so you shouldn't have any issues.

Concur just changed their partner program. You can still get residuals but need to re-up. I believe Nexonia was another alternative.

Wayne, have you looked at Paramount Workspace. They have a similar product. also they are a new 90minds Affiliate and should be at MOTM this year.

Wayne, I've written a V/I job to import into A/P Invoice Entry for a client who uses it. Pretty straight forward meaning I didn't have to write any PERFORM logic to manipulate the file or fields. My client has employees that are on the road a lot so being able to enter the expenses remotely is a plus.
