Just got the following email from a customer: ""Please submit a product suggestion to MAS for the next upgrade --- Our customers would really, really, REALLY love it if multiple invoices to the same account number would batch together as one email attachment. We have several customers who we have to scan their invoices and send them as one attachment. Many of the Board of Eds get 20+ separate emails per delivery day through the Paperless office. Well, the idea request is ONLY two years old. What is the rush. Like fine wine and cheese, it may need a couple more years to age.....

By using invoice-batching, and putting all of customer's invoices into a batch - you can use the invoice-printing preview to save-to-pdf a copy of all the invoices. You have to manually e-mail that - but some companies send 20+ invoices to the same customer and it saves the customer a lot of work.

Another option that is immediate (and deliverable this decade) is to use KnowledgeSync to create the invoices and batch them as desired to the customers. Works very nicely.

With Sage in on the action for each KnowledgeSync deal (and doc-link for that matter), Paperless Office is the new Payroll - Sage isn't going to make an investment to improve it when you can bust your hump to sell another license. That being said, KnowledgeSync is better than Paperless for electronic forms delivery.

@BrianRice - Is Sage making an investmen in ANYthng MAS? Nope! If it doesn't move a new license, Sage thinks NO one is interested. Why DO they maintain the idea website (and even send out e-mails asking for ideas)? I mean, after all, it is the number ONE website for suggestions on improving the legacy product. And WHAT have they really improved?

I think Sage has given up the new license chase. With so many EVP careers relying on the cross-sell initiative I think they're all in on cross selling to existing customers. This is a very short sighted company and they're looking as far ahead as their current fiscal year results.

Logically Sage 100's annual maintenance bills should be reduced - oops that's an X3 marketing/development funds source.

At the Sage Customer Symposium in Mpls yesterday, Lori Maloof said of the feedback/idea site, ""It's a great tool for me!!"" And encouraged everyone to use it. (I had to suppress a bit of laughter, I must admit.) She also mentioned that it is going to be improved to make it more interactive, allowing for comments, etc.

If only her budget allowed her to do anything other than make a wish list...
