Just got an email from xmDevelopments, and apparently Sage eCommerce is their product extended to integrate with Sage 100 and Sage X3 as well as Sage 300. @LloydSmith - Is this a good thing or not?

@PhilMcIntosh - They are good group to work with. I think if you have a relationship with WSP, that is one I like better. The WSP team seems to interact with the customer better and keeps the BP informed throughout the process.

Another _benefit_ for 100c users which presumably cannot be activated without another subscription.

Currently it's $600 annually to add the e-Business Manager Bundle to 100c. It is considered to be obsolete by many in terms of its integrations, but still works well for basic e-Commerce functions. I imagine the xmDevelopments product will be more, but should deliver more. I don't expect these connected services to be free.

I called XM Developments to review requirements I encounter with some prospects to see how their approach addresses those. No one answered, not even an operator, and it went to Jim McLean's voicemail. He is the CEO. That would be my first choice to speak to, but not what I would imagine to be a great procedure for just anyone calling in. I'll chalk it up to an extreme volume of calls since the announcement they would be providing the Sage 100c eCommerce.

I think the eCommerce for Sage 100c is scheduled for Feb 2018 - so no sales push yet.
