  • 1.  Just got a call from a MAS 90 customer that is fee

    Just got a call from a MAS 90 customer that is feed-up with his integration between Maximizer and Shore-Tel (phone system). He wants to know if Sage CRM plays nice with Shore-Tel. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Do you know the model / specs of his ShoreTel system? Sage CRM has built-in CTI functionality. In the cases where it does not connect / play nice with phone systems - or if customers want more advanced features - there are add-ons that can also be used. There are a lot of other reasons to upgrade from Maiximizer as well. Let me know if you need any assistance on moving it forward.

    I do have one customer that was having integration issues between SageCRM and Microsoft Outlook. They have Shore-Tel and weren't sure if that was the case. I will try to find out.

    Integration between CRM and Outlook should not be impacted by the CTI component. Not saying it isn't happening ... but it shouldn't be a factor.

    Here is the respone from the customer (Maximizer user) ""Myron, the Model of the system is ShoreTel 230. The argument I'm getting from both sides is that the two are not compatible with the version of TAPI each has. Neither one will switch to the other's version. You are right. It is software. I have other issues with Maximizer in that they are slow with upgrades and they charge too darn much for training from which there is little value. I think they are milking the shrinking customer base they have. The Techie in Milwaukee is loosing business right and left and probably will drop doing what he is doing as the result. "" Interesting. Everyone is in the same boat.
