    Just finished a v3.71 to v5.1 conversion. Email from customer this morning: ""Did we know we would be missing customer sales history in customer inquiry prior to conversion?"".. Does anyone have a good response to this question other than ""yes, I knew and you are screwed.

    or reach out to Randy Marion (90M'er) to get the utility that he wrote to address this issue. I am not sure if Martin and Associates still has dibs on his work.

    In 3.71 the only sales history in customer inquiry was PTD, YTD and prior year (current period only). There never was much more than that, was there?

    did everything get rolled into one period? I remember that at some point (4.1 maybe) all the history rolled into the same fiscal period, but it seemed like that the history in that screen was brand new functionality on the history tab so clients really didn't seem to mind back then. Perhaps you could point out that if they upgraded regularly, the history would have been tracking all along? I know that can be a touchy subject sometimes.

    I've always told folks that it's new functionality that'll start from this point forward - and then I give them the option of implementing the Utility.

    Is the customer inquiry screen the only place this data is missing? In other words, if they wanted to run a report comparing sales 2016 to 2015, would they be able to do it?

    I am sure if they pull the data out of AR Invoice history, all would be good. Sage just didn't bother to write a utility to populate summary tables, which BTW is how the utility pulls its data to populate the summary tables.

    Doug - I certainly do have a utility to recalculate the various history totals in A/R and A/P... Let me know if you have interest. If you like I can send you the PDF manual of the utility
