Just did a Sage 100 Standard 2015 to 2016c upgrade for a client that had extensive My Tasks menus and none of them were migrated to the new Favorites menu. We moved the user folders in the Launcher folder on the server and when the user switches to the Classic desktop all of the My Tasks are there. Am I missing something in the new Standard desktop or is this client going to have everyone using the Classic desktop?

To my knowledge the my tasks do not migrate to the Favorites menu so they need to be setup by the user. I haven't looked to see if you could programatically do anything at this point.

Bernie I would report it to Sage and ask for a fix. In 3 months we've reported two 2016c Standard desktop issues. The first was the Launcher issue in the TS Server 2012 environment discussed on another thread and the other is an Error 60 in BR Positive Pay Wizard when the second grid loads. The moved fast on the first one and they're working on a fix for the latter. The point is they're fixing fast as part of upholding the ""c"" image, not because of the severity of the issues.

Any idea when the promised ""the user will only see the menu tasks they have the rights for' may come out of engineering and be fixed. Or is this in the same boat as the overpromised Sage Payment Center integration where it sounds like some marketing department wrote a future version of what they thinK Sage Payment Center should do -- which unfortunately the current product doesn't do.
