Not quite sure why it is emphatic in mentioning that you do this prior to the migration except for the fact if IT changes server names and then you can't find the files.............. Also, I thought they had a utility somewhere that did the same thing??????

Well you have to have at least one file in the correct location or the move button will be greyed out.
