Hi everyone - we are scheduling the next Sage Roundtable for Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 11 am Pacific Time/2 pm Noon Eastern.

    Registration Here: zoom.us/meeting/register/...

In the meantime, let's get the conversation started.

Join Elliott Pritchard and the SAGE Team for the following demo and overview.

    Inventory Requirements Planning (IRP) (2022 PU1) (10-15mins)
Review how it gets installed as part of the 2022 PU1
Review how Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data gets converted (which is a little different than other areas for this release)
New Payroll to Accounts Payable Integration (Payroll 2.22.2) (10-15mins)

Please feel free to add any subjects you would like to discuss below.   Please note that given this is the R&D group - we will not be recording, or discussing bundling, or pricing.  Thanks!

Is there any ongoing development work for production management (beside bug fixes) or has the end of the road been reached for this module as well?

I think bug fixes will be the flavor of the month for quite some time since Sage completely re-wrote PM and just released IRP compatibility.  After that, Sage has plans to add more features and functionality to PM.

    1. Where feasible - installing payroll update should NOT trigger a workstation sync or require data conversion of all modules. Whether it requires local admin or not, the sync confuses customers. Requiring data conversion is not consistent across updates ( sometimes it's required, sometimes not )  and it's easy to miss this and causes a call from the customer asking why they're being prompted to convert data.

    2. The OAuth and TLS changes should contain much more detail for customers who reply "well I don't send any emails from Sage so I guess I'm ok" or "I don't use O365 or Gmail" so I guess I'm ok. Need to have detail info to provide these customers so they can make a more informed decision about upgrading. The process of upgrading is a big deal because many customers have added multiple add-ons and upgrading their core Sage plus all the add-ons is costly laborwise.

    3. Speed at which invoices/statements can be sent via paperless office. The customers left using Sage are larger and have larger volumes of email invoices to send to customers ( frequently 200+ ).

Is IE11 still the browser required for Bank Feeds?

Or, how about better support for Bank feeds????  The complexity and dearth of support makes usage pretty much a non starter for me.  Would be nice if they would open their wallets to provide us access also.

Bank Feeds:  Can it pull down bank balance in addition to transactions?  Also provide a selection for "cleared date" range.
Please vote for this and add to Agenda.  Sage 100: Automatically authorize one credit card deposit for multiple invoices in Cash Receipts Entry (v1ideas.com)

Was it me or did the Sage tech team skip over (ignore) several questions regarding bank feeds?

That's why I asked my question in the Q&A.  I don't understand why Elliot said he hadn't planned to answer all the questions in the webinar.

Clearly the next 3 years are going to be about fixing PM.
