John spoke to Paige and looks as if Sage is interested in $9,000 platinum sponsorship. Thank you for following through on this for us @JohnHoyt ! Sage is interested in sending 4 people for the $9,000 sponsorship and apparently the $9,000 is all that Paige asked for (she didn't think about the membership fee). Sage isn't the first affiliate to be confused by the membership / sponsorship form. We think (John and I) that at this late date the $9k is probably good and we should accept Sage as a Platinum sponsor and not require that they pay the first year dues. When they are in San Diego we have an opportunity to sit down with them and talk about future meetings and if there would be a sponsor fee associated. What I think makes sense is we consider two people for the Road Ahead as free full conference tickets, then a Platinum $9k includes two tickets. If they want to send more than 4 total we can talk about additional costs at that time.

Well, it is more than last year. A little bit at a time. Very difficult with the revolving personal door to create continuity! TG, our membership is stable. Kudos to the both of you! Now show me the paperwork!!!

Paige called back to verify the above. I said we'd consider the Road Ahead speakers to be our guests and Sage could send two more and have one more session. In reality I am not opposed to Sage doing more so long as they're on as a sponsor and I'll leave that decision to Therese/Jim, etc.
