Client on Sage 100 2015 (moving to 2018 soon).

Has a Sales Order with Work Tickets generated and labor & materials have been transacted against the Work Tickets.

Now the customer want's to split the order up into multiple Purchase Orders (SO's to the client).  Is there any way to relink or re-assign an in progress Work Ticket to a Different SO?

Nothing Textbook regarding this ask.  Assuming this is a Make to Order Line Based Work ticket, you could do the following:
    * Create new sales order, create new work ticket by copying the current sales order./work ticket.
    * in the original sales order/work ticket, unissued all material so it goes back into inventory stock.
    * on the new sales order/work ticket, issue the material previously returned to stock.  (NOTE:  Inventory costs will probably not be the same, just the nature of the transactions).
    * Close the original work ticket to history (zero quantity), absorbing all labor costs; then enter labor into the new work ticket, either by employee summary, or by date summary. Then do a journal entry to remove the cost of goods absorbed for the closed work ticket with the applied labor account.

I'd consider upgrading to v2019, when they are ready to upgrade.  It is still the "OLD" JobOps format.  If they use JOScan, they would need to move to MFG-100 and pay the installation fee to Scanco.  But that would put them on the latest and greatest release.  Assuming that if they use JOScan, for data collection; that MFG-100 is a suitable replacement.  It will not have a timecard piece and will not have a Quality Control Piece (in MFG-100).  In the next release of MFG-100, it will have "Parts Auto Issue"; from what I heard in a conversation with Scanco yesterday.  That release is due in the next few weeks.
